How to manage your campaign budget and understand marketplace fees
WebContent is built to be flexible - you only pay for the content you order. When you start a campaign, you choose how many creators you want to work with and what you want to pay per video.
Get a complete guide to managing your budget - and understand how the marketplace fee structure works.
1. Set your budget at campaign creation
When you create a campaign, you choose:
Number of videos you want (e.g. 3 videos)
Price per video (e.g. 1,000 SEK/video)
The system automatically calculates the total price:
3 videos x 1,000 kr = 3,000 kr + marketplace fee
2. How marketplace fees work
Marketplace fee is WebContent's transaction fee. It covers operations, support, matching system and creator payment.
Solo (free) - 30%
Scale (paid) - 10%
Example:
3,000 kr in creator payment on Solo → total = 3,900 kr
On Scale= 3,360 kr
The more you use the platform, the more it makes sense to upgrade to Scale and save on fees.
3. See budget overview in the dashboard
When the campaign is live, you can follow all the time:
How much you have spent
What's approved vs. pending
Marketplace fee per video
This will automatically appear in the campaign overview so you can easily keep track of your finances.
4. Optimize your campaigns financially
Here are some ways to make the most of your budget:
Use AI Brief Maker → better brief = less risk of changes
Start with fewer videos and upscale if the result is good
Choose Scale if you do more than one campaign/month
Invite the same creators again (higher quality, less uncertainty)
5. Add brands and users as needed
On Scale, you can add more brands:
Price: 995 kr/pc
50% discount for 3 or more
Multiple users can be added so your team can share responsibility
Tip: Use the plan builder
We recommend actively using the platform's campaign builder and budget overview - it gives you the full overview before you click "Create campaign".
